Our Mission
The mission of Great Western Institute is to promote water resources conservation through
education, research and policy development.
Water resources conservation includes any and all of those activities, measures, and programs
that involve:
- Water use efficiency
- Wise water use
- Water Infrastructure management
- Water reuse
Our organization will work to leverage our resources and the resources of our partner organizations to help Colorado and other western states efficiently and effectively manage its water resources in an enduring and sustainable manner.
Our organization will also work toward creating and maintaining an operating, nonprofit entity that will exist beyond our current administration.
